Crafted from beautifully textured, Wortley upholstery-grade bouclé and finished with a clean plain edge stitch, this piece is all about understated sophistication. The custom feather insert features cleverly stitched internal pockets, which keep the fill in place and ensure long-lasting loft and comfort.

The Story Behind the Design
Back in 2019, Emma was working on a bespoke design project with a client who loved refreshing his interiors but wasn’t keen on committing to a traditional fixed headboard. He wanted something softer, more versatile, and easier to switch out with the seasons—or his mood. That conversation sparked an idea.

Emma returned to her studio and began experimenting with a more flexible, removable design that looked beautiful, offered support more so than your traditional headboard, and could be restyled on a whim. After a full year of development and real-life product testing, the headboard cushion was born—a stylish and functional solution that’s been winning hearts ever since.
