The Story Behind the Design
Back in 2019, Emma Billingham worked closely with a client who loved refreshing his home interiors but didn’t want to commit to a traditional fixed headboard. Inspired by this conversation, Emma created the original headboard cushion—a design-led, removable alternative that could be styled and restyled endlessly. After a full year of product testing and refinements, the headboard cushion was born: a practical, beautiful solution that brings both comfort and flexibility into the bedroom.

This signature piece was first seen in the @threebirdsrenovations project, Student Casablanca_Creative Home, back when Emma was the founder and product designer of O&S.
